Welcome to the Creative Writing and Poetry Blended Schools course!
As a new venture for BCA, this class will take place primarily online through www.blendedschools.net.
Each BS class offered here at BCA is changed and re-done by the teachers themselves. This freedom allows the teacher to create the best possible class experience for the student.
HOMEWORK DUE:
JAMES - Don't forget to be using the "journal" section during each unit. I should see at least 2/3 entries per section. If you have any questions, let me know.
(It may be helpful to browse the 2nd quarter end "portfolio" project for some ideas as to what you should be writing about.
By 9/20 - Complete Brainstorming lesson 2 and read Lesson 3's memoirs/brainstorming link. Follow "Draft" instructions from this link as well.
By 9/24 - Complete Lesson 3 by posting your draft into the workshop discussion and I will respond with my comments. Work through Lesson 4, using the Two Column details page during the video.
By 9/27 - Finish Lesson 4.
By end of October - Finish "Short Story" section. Be looking at the portfolio section so you know what's expected of you at the end of the 2nd quarter.
By End of November - Finish "Dialog and Drama" section. Again, be looking at the portfolio section so you know what's expected of you at the end of the 2nd quarter.
